In 1954 Giorgos Tsinavos founder of the company, opened a small patisserie in Serres, which produced and had ice cream and confectionery in the city. The first ice-cream dispensers were made with street vendors and especially hand-operated carts that had ice and salt as coolant. Ice Creams, especially Kassato, a “special” ice cream based on sheep’s milk with a very rich flavor, quickly began to gain reputation outside of Serres.

Today, after 63 years of successful trade and continuous investment, Cri Cr is one of the most dynamic dairy industries and aims to further enhance its growth prospects both in Greece and abroad.
