Entersoft undertook a research project through the “Research-Create-Innovate” State Aid on Innovative Services in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Optical Positioning (VPS), Optical Measurement and Enhanced Reality in collaboration with Software and Interactive Technologies Laboratory (Department of Informatics, AUTh).
The aim of the project is to develop internationally innovative and high value added applications that combine the capabilities of Tango technology (which provides fast and economical 3D spatial modeling and Visual Positioning System) with data and WMS processes.
The project will focus on fast-moving warehouse items (FMCG) where their organization, size and criticality enhances applicability and expected return on investment (ROI). The goal is for Entersoft to significantly strengthen its competitiveness as a provider of innovative WMS solutions, for the Software and Interactive Information Laboratory of the Department of Informatics (AUTH) to transfer knowledge to this crucial subject area and to connect University Research with the market.
